Gran Turismo 7 Spec III: the substantial 1.65 update revolutionizes garages, tracks, and content

On December 4, 2025, Gran Turismo 7 received a major update: Spec III, version 1.65, a free patch that significantly expands the gaming experience for all virtual drivers.

With this update, the simulator developed by Polyphony Digital is enriched with eight new cars, from modern supercars to more eclectic vehicles, including track models, classic icons, and even a one-of-a-kind F1 model. At the same time, two new international circuits have been added to expand the racing options and variety of competitions.

But the new features don’t stop at cars and tracks. The patch introduces improvements to game modes, new weekly challenges, a revision of the progression systems, and a series of additional features designed to make the “car life” of every digital driver more profound and engaging. These include a data recording system to monitor performance and an increase in the maximum collector level, which expands the opportunities for growth in the game.

The update was accompanied by the launch of the Power Pack DLC for PlayStation 5, premium content with 50 new races structured into themed categories and challenges against advanced AI, designed for those who want a more intense, competition-oriented experience.

With Spec III, Gran Turismo 7 once again demonstrates how a simulator can evolve over time, constantly adding new opportunities for the community and keeping players interested long after its release.
