Rallying returns to the forefront of sim racing with an announcement that immediately sparked the interest of the community: Assetto Corsa Rally is now a reality.
The new project brings the Assetto Corsa name to the world of special stages for the first time, marking an important step for one of the most iconic brands in driving simulation.
The title is being developed by Supernova Games Studios, a team of racing industry veterans, with technical support from Kunos Simulazioni. The goal is clear: to create a modern, deep, and credible rally simulation that will satisfy both long-time fans and a new generation of sim racers.
A rally designed for those seeking realism
Assetto Corsa Rally was created with a strong focus on simulation. The driving experience is built around managing the car in the most difficult conditions: uneven surfaces, grip variations, load transfers, jumps, and braking on mixed surfaces. Each special stage is designed to test concentration and precision, with an approach that rewards clean driving rather than aggression.
Work on roads and surfaces is one of the central elements of the project, as is attention to weather, time of day, and environmental conditions that directly influence car behavior.
Early Access and shared development with the community
The Early Access debut represents a deliberate choice: to involve the community in the development of the title right from the start. Content, cars, and special stages will be expanded over time, with progressive updates designed to refine the physics, improve performance, and introduce new game modes.
The idea is to build Assetto Corsa Rally step by step, listening to feedback from those who really experience rallying, steering wheel in hand.
A new chapter for rally simracing
With this project, rallying returns to the forefront in a landscape that has seen few real innovations in pure simulation in recent years. Assetto Corsa Rally aims to bridge the gap between tradition and modern technology, with the ambition of becoming a new benchmark for lovers of special stages, dirt roads, and uncompromising driving.
Rallying finally has a new home. And it promises to live up to expectations.
